Our customer is global provider of modern business services in the area of ​​accounting and taxes, human resources and payroll, as well as corporate secretariat management. As the Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for supporting team members with the delivery of the payroll services to the company's clients. All payroll and associated tasks must be completed by the Payroll Specialist in an efficient and timely manner, providing a high quality of service to the client.


Payroll Specialist (Irish Market)

Location: Katowice


Project information:

  • Branch: Payroll
  • Location: Katowice, remote work model (1-2 visits in the office monthly)
  • Type of employment: contract of employment
  • Remuneration: up to 9000 PLN gross (depending on the candidate's experience)
  • Level: Junior/Mid
  • Contract length: long-term
  • Start date: ASAP

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting payroll compliance requirements via accurate processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls, remittances and filings with appropriate tax authorities/pension providers and payments to employees
  • Meeting the indicated deadlines for each allocated client task
  • Performing tasks in compliance with company policies relating to payroll
  • Being the primary day to day contact for payroll audits, Central Statistics Office and others
  • Answering audit queries and analysis at year-end and preparing monthly and annual statutory returns
  • Being responsible for processing, payment, reconciliation and reporting of benefits
  • Providing administrative support for management of payroll and benefit issues and accurate record keeping
  • Keeping up to date with changes in local payroll and tax legislation
  • Maintaining relevant databases, client records and other tracking tools
  • Supervising and allocates tasks to teammates


Requirements:

  • IPASS/CIPP or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with payroll systems e.g. Sage Micropay, STAR and Microsoft office packages or willingness to learn payroll systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong ability to plan ahead and organise themselves
  • Knowledge of English (B2/C1)
