For our client, a rapidly growing organization from the e-sport industry, we are looking for the first SEO Manager, who will join the team and evolve that area within the company.
Your primary role will be to analyse and execute search engine optimization campaigns for our client - a modern esports betting brand, that is also looking for ways to expand into online sports betting and casino markets. SEO in the Gaming industry is competitive, so we are on the lookout for intelligent, capable and creative candidates who are excited by this challenge. You’ll provide the strategic development and critical execution of organic search performance while working closely with content, product, web development and senior leadership.
As a SEO Manager your responsibilities in this role will be the following:

As a SEO Manager your responsibilities in this role will be the following:
- Analyzing and evaluating the SEO landscape to identify key opportunities to drive meaningful traffic and growth.
- Providing opportunity analysis and keyword, market, and competitive research to identify strategic decisions on content and optimizations.
- Pushing forward on up to date SEO best practices, algorithm shifts and industry to provide critical direction on content and website plan.
- Being proactive in recommendations and execution on technical SEO optimizations to drive results including website architecture, content, linking.
- Aligning and working closely with content, product, and development teams to consistently improve ROI.
- Following-through with development of the team on critical SEO optimizations are implemented successfully.
- QA / Audit of all new product feature launches for SEO.
- Consistently tracking and reporting SEO performance.
- Building and executing optimal link building strategy to grow SEO footprint and authority.
Requirements:
- 2+ years SEO experience.
- Proven track record of driving results through increasing traffic, improving brand, and site visibility through key analysis of opportunities and execution.
- Ability to effectively identify technical site opportunities, and properly prioritize within cross- functional teams for best outcome.
- Strong data driven thinking to problem solve to tie data to core decision making and growth of SEO traffic.
- Strong understanding of conversion funnel and customer acquisition from search intent to conversion; including how to optimize the funnel for growth.
- In-depth expertise in SEO tools including Google Analytics, Google Search, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS.
- Strong communication skills of priorities and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
