Business Consultant – Financial Services / Capital Markets / Brokerage Houses and Investment
WHO WE ARE
As a member of the Capital Markets team, you will work for top brokerage houses and offices in Poland and Europe, help financial institutions transform their front-to-back operations and drive growth by leveraging digital innovation, data, and advanced technologies. You will support clients across areas such as trading, post-trade processing, risk and regulatory compliance, and client experience, enabling them to become more agile, efficient, and resilient in an increasingly complex and fast-evolving market environment.
THE WORK
Conduct business analysis activities across brokerage operations, including requirements definition, process mapping, and functional gap analysis
Support transformation initiatives within capital markets by leveraging knowledge of brokerage lifecycle, including trading and post-trade processes
Perform data analysis using Excel as a core tool to validate data and generate insights; use SQL where applicable
Support solution validation and testing activities, including preparation of test scenarios, UAT support, and defect triage
Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and delivered solutions
Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and align on solutions
Ensure structured communication and effective stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle
HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Experience in business analysis (requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis)
Knowledge of capital markets and brokerage lifecycle (trading and post-trade)
Strong data analysis skills – advanced Excel (must have)
SQL knowledge (nice to have)
Experience in testing support (test scenarios, UAT, defect triage)
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience in facilitating workshops and working with cross-functional teams
Structured thinking and ability to translate business needs into functional requirements
Very good command of English and Polish (min. B2/C1)
NICE TO HAVE
Experience in consulting or project-based environments
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives)
Exposure to regulatory frameworks within capital markets

Hybrid type of work with 2–3 office days per week
The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office—depending on specific project circumstances.
