What is the Experienced Business Manager’s role?


To join ALTEN as an Experienced Business Manager, means to take on challenges in fast-paced environments and go the extra mile to achieve business goals.


In this role, you will be responsible for full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure. Building and nourishing relationships with clients will be your bread and butter. Working with us means that you’ll become a part of our sales team, adding your business development best-practices and experience to drive new growth.


Your challenges:

  • Establishing, maintaining and nourishing relationships with customers (mainly renowned brands from the 500 Fortune list)
  • Executing strategies to expand effectively our customer base
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities (cold calls, cold emails, industry events)
  • Gathering and understanding project needs and proposing tailor-made solutions which resonate with client needs
  • Ensuring the profitability of assignments and customer satisfaction


Desired qualifications and personality traits:

  • Studies completed (preferred Engineering/IT or related)
  • Experience in sales farming, customer acquisition with a proven ability to achieve sales targets (preferably in the engineering/IT area)
  • Mastery of customer relationship management
  • Skills in preparing offers and business presentations
  • Highly motivation and target orientation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
  • Smooth, trouble-free communication in English
  • Full-time availability
