Network Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the achievement of fibre strategy.
• Analyze and develop network expansion and modernization concepts.
• Plan and create network link and site projects using planning tools (e.g., ISD, fibre).
• Request and coordinate infrastructure solutions with partners.
• Design high-level IP/WDM hardware and manage hardware vendor orders.
• Review and approve work packages from hardware vendors.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to routing information and RAN rollout.
• Update and manage site and network element projects, including rack designs and plan routes.
• Solve network disruptions and follow up on complex site setups.
• Collaborate in MAC/POC clusters to improve processes and handle project tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Engineering, Electrical, or Telecommunications.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in telecommunications.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in transport parameter planning, FTTS, and optical fiber capacity planning.
• Holding Cisco CNNA cerfificate, routing and 5G experience.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and German.
