The client:

Our client is a premier logistics solutions provider specializing in freight brokerage and supply chain management. They pride ourselves on delivering tailored, dependable, and cost-efficient transportation services to diverse industries, with a strong emphasis on retail delivery.   

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Logistics Broker Sales Representative to join our expanding team. This role offers the exciting opportunity to contribute to building a high-performing sales team, with the potential to take on a leadership role in managing the team. 


About the role:

The Logistics Broker Sales Representative plays a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, carriers, and partners to deliver customized freight solutions. This position focuses on selling the client's services, with an emphasis on land freight and last-mile deliveries for retail clients.   

Your daily tasks will include:

- Managing the full logistics process, from securing freight to final delivery.   

-Negotiating service agreements with shippers. 

- Negotiating competitive rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective solutions.   

- Leveraging a robust pipeline of warm leads from trade shows and RFPs.   



Responsibilities: 

Sales & Business Development: 

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients through cold calling, networking, and lead generation. 
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers in need of freight and transportation services. 
  • Develop and present customized logistics solutions to meet client needs. 
  • Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers to maximize profitability. 

Carrier Relations: 

  • Source, onboard, and maintain relationships with carriers to ensure competitive rates and reliable services. 
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure profitability and meet customer needs. 
  • Manage the performance of carriers to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. 



Qualifications: 

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation. 
  • Understanding of retail supply chain. 
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Familiarity with logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, CRM) is a plus. 
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven. 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience). 
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales. US based freight experience. 



Our requirements: 

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to enable smooth and fluent communication with English-speaking clients – a must
  • Punctuality and a high level of work culture
  • Availability to work in evening hours: 2PM - 11PM (with 1-hour lunch break)
