We work: Hybrid (3 days from home weekly)

Contract of employment: full-time, contract for 12 months

Business Analyst – Finance & Treasury Change

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Finance Change team in improving processes and technology for Markets Treasury Product Control and Hedge Accounting functions.
  • Conduct business analysis, including data assessment, process mapping, and impact evaluation of change initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Product Control, and IT teams to define requirements and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Document business requirements, system changes, and process updates following internal change frameworks.
  • Participate in system testing, ensuring Finance requirements are met, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains, contributing to automation initiatives.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders, ensuring smooth adoption of changes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk policies, and regulatory requirements.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in Markets Treasury Product Control and/or Hedge Accounting in an accounting-related role.
  • Understanding of Global Market Products (accounting qualification is a plus).
  • At least 2 years of project delivery experience (either in a direct role or as part of a project team).
  • Knowledge of the project lifecycle (certification is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and adaptable to change.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring high-quality task completion.
  • Proactive "can-do" attitude, willing to take on various tasks to support the team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Willingness to grow and take on additional responsibilities within the project.
