About the Company
Our client is an international organisation specialising in molecular diagnostics, with a strong focus on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) solutions. The company has been present in the Polish market for over a decade, maintaining a stable position while actively expanding its portfolio and transitioning toward a direct sales model.
About the Role
We are seeking a Business Manager who will drive commercial growth in Poland and selected Eastern European markets. This is the first role of its kind locally — offering significant autonomy, strategic influence, and the opportunity to shape the company’s commercial presence during a key phase of transformation.
A central part of the role is supporting the shift from a distributor-led model to a direct sales approach, while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
Your Responsibilities
- Full ownership of business development activities across Poland and parts of Eastern Europe.
- Representing the company and promoting its molecular diagnostics portfolio (NGS) to diagnostic laboratories.
- Building and strengthening relationships with key customers, including hospitals, oncology centres, and pathology laboratories.
- Managing and supporting distributors and the broader partner network.
- Developing and executing the sales strategy in collaboration with the European leadership team.
- Monitoring market trends, competitive landscape, reimbursement pathways, and clinical guidelines.
- Engaging with medical stakeholders in oncology, pathology, and molecular biology.
- Planning and delivering sales and marketing initiatives.
- Participating in scientific conferences, industry events, and professional congresses.
- Preparing regular business reports, forecasts, and presentations.
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of sales experience in oncology or molecular diagnostics.
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology, including hands-on understanding of NGS (required).
- Experience working with diagnostic laboratories (oncology, pathology, molecular diagnostics).
- Solid understanding of the precision medicine landscape in Poland.
- Proven track record in consultative selling.
- University degree in biology, diagnostics, oncology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Excellent command of Polish and English.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- High level of independence, initiative, and adaptability to a fast‑growing environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
