Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for an international challenge? Join our Client team, a global leader in motion and industrial solutions, as we expand our European procurement team. We are seeking a dynamic individual to take ownership of strategic purchasing projects across packaging materials and international transport services.
Here are some of the things you can look forward to:
- Manage and lead end-to-end purchasing processes including tenders, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
- Drive sourcing strategies for packaging and transportation categories (road, sea, air).
- Cooperate with supply chain and procurement teams across 7 manufacturing plants in Europe, a distribution center in France, and counterparts in China, India, and the US.
- Execute ongoing strategic projects including major tenders for UK, Polish, and ocean freight, packaging consolidation, and BP26 support.
- Develop and implement short-, mid-, and long-term commodity strategies, including sustainability and cost-optimization goals.
- Deliver regular updates and structured analysis for internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Professional experience in international purchasing.
- Hands-on experience in running tenders and negotiating contract terms via e-platforms.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical skills and excellent command of MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel (approx. 20–30%).
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of the packaging and transportation markets.
- French language skills.
- SAP, Power BI, Power Query experience.
- Experience in building commodity strategies.
