Location: Gogolin, opolskie

We work: Hybrid (3 days from office weekly)

Contract of employment: full-time

Level: Mid/ Senior

The company focuses on innovative technologies that enhance efficiency, environmental protection, and safety across various applications.


Fixed Assets Accountant with German


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the accounting and depreciation of fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and inventory checks
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards (HGB) and international accounting principles (IFRS)
  • Record, verify, and balance fixed asset entries within SAP 
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets
  • Perform regular reconciliation and ensure accuracy of fixed asset accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounts Payable, Controlling) to facilitate data flow and address discrepancies
  • Provide audit support and assist in developing detailed reports on fixed asset status and valuations
  • Identify areas for process improvement in asset management and implement efficient solutions


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in fixed asset accounting or general ledger roles
  • Proficiency in German (B2 level or higher) and English nice to have 
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of local and international accounting standards (HGB, IFRS) will be an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support cross-functional initiatives
