Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer

Our client is a multinational company specializing in global design, engineering, and consulting services, with a diverse portfolio including award-winning brands. We are currently seeking a Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer to join the global team and contribute to the operations in Poland.

Responsibilities:

• perform construction monitoring of earth retaining structures, deep foundations (drilled shafts, piles), and shallow foundations.
• design of shallow and deep foundations and earth-retaining structures
• perform liquefaction and consolidation settlement analyses.
• Perform Finite Element modeling
• develop geotechnical reports
• design ground improvement including deep soil mixing, rigid inclusions, chemical
• develop contract documents including drawings and specifications
• work in collaborative multi-disciplinary teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in geology and/or engineering geology
• experience gained with a multinational engineering company will be an asset
• knowledge of geophysical surveys is a plus
• experience in ArcGIS and lineament analysis is a plus
• leadership qualities including teamwork, communication, and report writing
