Global IT Procurement Manager

Role Description

As a Global IT Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies in the IT category to optimize cost savings, quality and supplier performance. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research and analysis, identifying new trends, potential suppliers and innovative solutions in the IT industry.

You will work with IT/technology leaders to align strategic IT initiatives with sourcing strategies and business objectives, as well as manage the IT vendor contract portfolio. Leading the processes of identifying, evaluating, selecting and negotiating suppliers to secure favorable terms and working with IT executives are other key responsibilities.

In addition, you will be responsible for continuous improvement of procurement processes and ensuring compliance with company policies. Monitoring and mitigating IT supply chain risks and providing support to internal stakeholders are also important elements of this role.

Requirements

• Approximately seven years of experience in IT purchasing, strategic sourcing and vendor management, preferably in a global organization: Europe, America, Asia.
• Knowledge of English at the C2 level
• In-depth knowledge of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud services and telecommunications.
• Knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations.
• Proven track record in project management and cost reduction.
• Familiarity with procurement management software, ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Highly developed analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and results-oriented.
