Due to an increased demand within the R&D finance function and ongoing global projects, our client is looking to hire an experienced professional to support planning, reporting, and financial analysis processes.
Global R&D Finance Analyst | Remote
Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of financial data models (e.g. Anaplan as a planning tool)
Prepare, coordinate, and support global R&D planning processes
Coordinate R&D planning cycles, including collaboration with local stakeholders and tool support
Consolidate and analyze planning data, ensuring high quality and consistency
Act as the main point of contact for Magic Cube (R&D planning and reporting tool), including: further development and report creation; user training and support; cooperation with external providers (e.g. technical issues, system changes)
Provide guidance and advisory support to local FP&A teams and Finance Business Partners, especially in R&D planning and reporting
Oversee monthly R&D reporting (P&L and project reporting), including high-level commentary and support for local units
Perform complex financial and cost analyses and prepare insights for management
Qualifications:
5–7 years of experience in controlling/ FP&A
Experience in international or global environments
Project management experience in finance and/or IT is a strong advantage
Knowledge of SAP FI/CO and database applications
Experience with planning tools (e.g. Anaplan) is highly preferred
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets
Very good command of English (min. B2/C1)
Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
