 Mechanical CAD Engineer

We are hiring for our client – a global leader in the eDrive industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical products intended for high-volume manufacturing in challenging automotive environments. Your key tasks will include developing and verifying CAD models and technical drawings, while also supporting the creation of manufacturing and testing fixtures.

 

Responsibilities:

• Execute MCAD tasks for both ongoing and new projects.
• Design, assess, and document mechanical solutions using NX and TeamCenter.
• Generate and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all designs and drawings adhere to internal guidelines and standards.
• Assist in mechanical validation processes, including tolerance analysis and documentation.
• Support the management of engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Present design outcomes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Share 3D design data with suppliers and customers for seamless integration.
• Oversee the creation and approval of Bill of Materials (BOMs) according to project timelines.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design within a high-volume, quality-sensitive manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of driveline components such as gears, shafts, bearings, and casings.
• Experience with 3D modeling software, preferably NX, and familiarity with TeamCenter or equivalent tools.
• Solid understanding of GD&T principles and dimensional tolerancing.
• Expertise in designing with a focus on cost-efficiency, manufacturing processes, and materials (particularly metal and die-cast components).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and collaborate.
