Operations Manager with French (Tax, Regulatory Oversight)

We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager with French (Tax, Regulatory Oversight) to join our growing team in Warsaw. This is a strategic managerial role responsible for leading operational teams supporting Private Capital clients and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

The position has been created as part of the continued growth of the business and the expansion of operational capabilities in Poland.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and provide direction to several operational teams, fostering a collaborative culture and ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.

• Oversee daily operational activities and maintain a high standard of client service aligned with client expectations.

• Act as a Private Capital SME, providing technical expertise and supporting complex operational cases and escalations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective client account management (TAM – Transfer Agency / Account Management).

• Ensure proper execution of the operational risk framework and compliance with regulatory requirements (including FATCA and tax-related processes).

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and service delivery to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Support business growth by adapting and optimizing operational structures and workflows.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership to define and execute operational strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a financial institution, preferably within Private Capital / Alternatives.

• At least 3 years of management experience in an Operations environment.

• Fluent English and French (mandatory due to close cooperation with Paris-based teams and clients).

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or Business Management.

• Professional qualifications such as CFA / ACCA / CIMA are considered a strong advantage.

• Solid understanding of alternative fund structures (Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, Real Estate).

• Knowledge of FATCA and tax regulations in the Private Capital environment.

• Practical experience with industry platforms such as eFront or Investran is highly desirable.

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Client-focused mindset with the ability to inspire teams and build a positive and trustworthy working environment.
