Product Control Change Lead - Business Analysis
This position sits within the Product Control Change delivery team and plays a key role in driving change initiatives across Product Control and markets subledger processes. The role focuses on leading business analysis activities within high-impact change programs and working closely with senior stakeholders at both regional and global levels.
As a Product Control Change Lead, you will take ownership of complex change initiatives, ensure strong governance, manage competing priorities, and actively support the successful delivery of strategic transformation projects within the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business analysis activities within Product Control change initiatives, with a focus on markets and subledger processes
Drive and coordinate change initiatives with visibility at senior management level
Design and implement appropriate project governance structures aligned with the scope and complexity of each initiative
Work closely with global and regional stakeholders to align priorities and avoid duplication across parallel initiatives
Manage conflicting requirements through structured stakeholder engagement and clear prioritisation
Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, actively manage RAID items, and escalate critical issues through appropriate governance forums
Provide change leadership and support the development of business analysts contributing to the delivery of Product Control change
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in Product Control or a related finance/risk function
Strong knowledge of IFRS standards (IAS 32/39, IFRS 7, IFRS 9)
Hands-on experience with month-end close for markets products, including FO–GL reconciliations, journals, cash and balance sheet controls
Good understanding of product lifecycles and related accounting events
Ability to communicate accounting impacts clearly and work with accounting policy and implementation teams
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment
Strong ownership, prioritisation skills, and proactive approach to risk and issue management
Professional or project certifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, Prince2, PMP, Agile) are a strong advantage
