Senior Financial Accountant with Dutch

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This core business function is essential for managing all aspects of accounting – from transactional entries to financial analysis and statutory reporting. The ideal candidate will be career-driven, open to development opportunities, and eager to work in a fast-paced, international environment.

This role requires solid end-to-end accounting knowledge and familiarity with local GAAP and global accounting standards. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting while collaborating with stakeholders across various countries and cultures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform end-to-end accounting processes for assigned entities.

• Deliver timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities in line with internal deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with global and local statutory requirements and internal financial controls.

• Complete assigned deliverables within defined SLAs, including prompt responses to internal and external inquiries.

• Prepare financial statements and perform detailed balance sheet reviews, ensuring all accounts are substantiated and discrepancies are resolved.

• Support the delivery of tax and audit requirements within set timelines.

• Liaise with internal and external auditors as required.

• Conduct financial analysis and consolidate accounting/tax information from various sources to report on operational results.

• Ensure up-to-date corporate governance policies and procedures are in place and followed.

• Maintain adherence to the RICC (Risk and Internal Control Compliance) framework, including control attestation processes.

• Act as a backup for other team members when needed.

• Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Solid understanding of end-to-end accounting processes and local GAAP requirements.

• Experience in month-end closing, balance sheet reviews, and statutory reporting.

• Familiarity with tax and audit procedures.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure.

• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
