Our Client, a global leader in the healthcare manufacturing sector, is currently seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Specialist to join their Global Manufacturing Finance Team. In this hybrid role, you will support one of the company’s production sites (located in Austria or Germany), acting as a key finance partner responsible for production cost controlling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Senior FP&A Specialist - Production & Cost Controlling with German
Here are some of the things you can look forward to:
Act as a dedicated finance partner for a specific manufacturing plant (Austria or Germany).
Prepare, monitor, and analyze budgets and forecasts related to production costs (materials, labor, overhead).
Perform cost controlling and profitability analyses, supporting cost efficiency and margin improvements.
Analyze P&L statements, production KPIs, and support strategic planning with data-driven insights.
Develop or enhance financial models to support business scenarios, tenders, and investment decisions.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities (accruals, variance analysis, cost center reviews).
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams: Finance Business Partners, Commercial Finance, Operations.
Prepare management reports and presentations focused on production cost performance.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in FP&A, cost controlling, or plant controlling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of production processes and related cost structures.
Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, and production cost tracking.
Very good command of German (min. B1/B2) – daily communication via calls, meetings, and presentations.
Proficiency in SAP and Power BI (or similar BI/ERP systems).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into business insights.
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
