For our client, a global leader in innovative healthcare solutions, dedicated to improving patient outcomes worldwide, we’re seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead their strategic sourcing initiatives within the Corporate Fleet and Travel category. This is a full-time role based in Kraków, offering remote or hybrid work options., reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Sourcing.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a key player in the Global Sourcing team, you will manage over USD 25M+ in annual spend on corporate travel and fleet services across multiple regions. You will develop and execute global sourcing strategies, foster strong supplier relationships, ensure compliance with policies, and drive cost efficiencies—all while maintaining high service quality. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, your focus will be on operational excellence, strategic negotiations, risk management, and process optimization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and analyze global Travel and Fleet spend, translating insights into actionable sourcing strategies.
- Lead the overall fleet program, including acquiring new vehicles, managing service providers, and overseeing fleet operations such as safety, incidents, insurance, and driver management.
- Develop and execute supplier management strategies to optimize costs, improve service quality, and foster innovation through strategic sourcing and relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, monitor discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to meet KPIs.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Fleet and Travel policies, managing policy adherence and educating travelers and drivers.
- Lead risk management initiatives to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure engagement and ownership of sourcing strategies, accounting for regional or local requirements.
- Support onboarding and integration of new entities, working with cross-functional teams—including IT—to facilitate seamless transitions.
- Lead the RFP process for supplier selection and negotiations.
- Oversee and monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and support internal and external audit activities.
- Analyze market trends and lead initiatives to standardize and optimize processes across the procurement, finance, and travel teams.
- Manage procurement and contractual activities within SAP, including fleet and travel services, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
- Generate reports and data analyses to shape and recommend strategic directions for global fleet and travel sourcing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in corporate travel and/or fleet management.
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing impactful sourcing strategies.
- Experience leading multicultural teams in a complex, global environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and proven experience managing large-scale, international contracts.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
- Relevant academic background, with an MBA or professional procurement qualifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) an advantage.
