Valuation Controller

Here are some of the things you can look forward to:

  • Perform Fair Value Adjustment (FVA) and Independent Price Verification (IPV).

  • Calculate Prudent Valuation (PVA) and prepare Fair Value Levelling (FVL).

  • Improve controls and implement valuation methodologies.

  • Prepare Management Information for various committees.

  • Provide a comprehensive view of the P&L and Balance Sheet in collaboration with Business Financial Control and Core Product Control.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Product Control functions, Quantitative Analytics, Front Office, Market Risk Management, IT, and Operations.

  • Streamline processes to achieve efficiency and improve service quality

 

You are the right person for the role if you:

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution.

  • Strong understanding of financial instruments and valuation techniques.

  • Basic knowledge of market risk factors.

  • Advanced Excel skills are essential; knowledge of VBA is preferred. Access & SQL experience is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

  • Proficient in written and spoken English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.

  • Ambitious, driven, and enthusiastic.

  • CFA or FRM qualification (or in progress) is a plus.
