Senior Financial & Accounting Specialist (German & English)

Our parent company andagon – the pioneer in IT quality assurance for over two decades – is looking for an experienced specialist in Accounting and Financial reporting.  

In this role, you will oversee and manage the financial operations of all andagon group companies ensuring effective control of financial flows and the implementation of clear, transparent, and insightful financial reporting. 

You will be part of andagon’s Financial Department and interact with the company C-level management, playing a key role in strengthening the team's capabilities, shaping key financial processes and contributing to the company’s financial success. 

What We’re Looking for in You 

• Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification in accounting or finance (Steuerfachangestellter, Bilanz- or Finanzbuchhalter). 
• At least 2 years of professional experience in independent financial accounting, ideally in a medium-sized company. 
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly DATEV, and strong skills in MS Excel and MS Office tools. 
• In-depth knowledge of German statutory accounting and tax regulations.  
• Experience in payroll accounting is a plus. 
• Strong analytical thinking, data analysis skills, a high affinity for numbers, and a structured approach to work. 
• Proactive mindset, reliability, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.  
• Fluent German and English skills. 

What You Will Do 

Diverse tasks in operational financial accounting, such as: 

• Independent management of all financial accounting tasks, including account assignment, posting, and monitoring of business transactions. 
• Executing payment transactions, monitoring incoming and outgoing payments, and reconciling accounts. 
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations. 
• Managing dunning procedures, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. 
• Developing budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses in close collaboration with management. 
• Serving as the primary point of contact for tax and legal matters related to accounting.
