Sourcing Manager

What are the responsibilities?

• Execute comprehensive RFQ process and support stakeholders in timely manner while minimizing the risk and maximizing the value

• Procure machinery, production equipment and tooling as well as other project related categories as assigned by applying strategic sourcing principles at the best level of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).

• Apply and execute agreed tactics for procurement of machinery, production equipment and tooling as well as other Indirect materials and services as assigned.

• Through your own procurement expertise proactively support stakeholders in all project procurement inquiries.

• Manage relationships with all suppliers, resolve supplier issues and optimize suppliers' performance

• In addition, support other Indirect Procurement activities and upon request, specific stakeholder requirements as assigned

• Estimate risks and apply risk-minimizing techniques to procurement operations. In this role you will closely collaborate externally with selected suppliers, internally with stakeholders such as production & industrialization engineering teams, project managers as well as with global procurement team.

What do you bring to the team?

• At least 8 years of proven work experience in sourcing within machinery, production equipment and tooling,

• Solid knowledge of cost elements and drivers for machinery, production equipment, and tooling

• Significant expertise in legal contract negotiations and risk management

• Excellent communication skills in Polish and English with emphasis on formal presentations

• Effective interpersonal skills,

• Experience in working with an international supply base,

• Experience from a multi-country organization and cross-functional collaboration,

• A curious, action-oriented, team player and problem-solving attitude,

• Understanding that the responsibilities of the job may require extended and flexible hours
