Accounting Specialist RTR with German

Your Tasks

Due to intensive development of Beiersdorf Shared Services in Poland, we recentlyestablished the Accounting Department responsible for one of our luxury brands. Continuing our growth strategy, we are hiring for people willing to shape the young organization by actively establishing it as a regional center of excellence in the future.By joining our Poznan Beiersdorf Campus, you will work in an international environment with a great atmosphere and numerous opportunities for professional growth.

Your tasks will mainly focus on supporting our accounting team in tasks like:

• Contact ("Business Partner") for the Finance Manager of our German affiliate in all financial accounting matters. This requires very close cooperation with the local organization

• Periodical closing of the books in the group ledger, cost center accounting and preparation of statements of income (SOI) in accordance with IFRS and group specific guidelines

• Manage German tax compliance activities

  • VAT: E.g. preparing and submitting VAT/Intrastat declarations

  • CIT: Preparing calculation/declaration as per template as well as deferred taxes

• Oversee year-end closing and statutory reporting as per German GAAP (HGB) incl. trial balance, preparation of financial statements

• Posting of current account in OTC/PTP beside RTR activities

  
  

Your Profile

• Minimum 3 or more years of experience in RTR/GL area

• Knowledge of German local GAAP (HGB) and international accounting standards (IFRS) preferable

• Confident handling of SAP (FI/CO) and MS Office applications

• Additional accounting certificates will be an asset

• Fluent in German and English

• High sense of ownership, positive "can-do" mindset and ability to navigate through uncertainty, high level of flexibility
