Day-to-day contact for Beiersdorf Shared Services accountants on tax matters aiding and assisting them to resolve any tax matters that arise, including supporting tax audits (involving tax advisors as appropriate)
Day-to-day relationship with external tax outsourcing partners and providing transactional data required for tax returns
Monitoring tax compliance deadlines to ensure timely submission of tax filings
Regular engagement with Beiersdorf Shared Services accountants to ensure appropriate levels of tax knowledge and awareness, including the identification and implementation of Polish legislative developments as required
Identifying knowledge gaps/training needs within the Polish Beiersdorf Shared Services organisation and supporting the design and delivery of tax-related training programs
Preparing and submitting defense letters in response to tax audit or tax verification requests
Assisting Beiersdorf Shared Services accountants/external tax advisors in preparing Transfer Pricing Documentation
Providing support for the implementation of legal requirements, e.g. SAF-T reporting, e-invoicing
Main areas of tax covered will be CIT, VAT, WHT, Transfer Pricing, Pillar 2, and potentially local tax requirements, e.g. DAC6/MDR, Property Tax
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tax roles and/or advisory firms
Experience in direct and/or indirect tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, with a strong willingness to expand knowledge
Proficiency in English for business communication
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of SAP and IFRS
Mobility for occasional short business trips (a few times a year)
Familiarity with cross-border transactions, transfer pricing rules and double tax treaties will be an asset
