Head of Finance (w/m)

The Company

Beliani is one of the fastest-growing eCommerce companies in Europe. We are a successful online retailer of furniture and accessories. With our main operations based in Szczecin, Poland, and over 700 employees, we are expanding quickly internationally, currently operating in 19 countries—and we're just getting started.

Your Role

• Ready to build the finance function of a company growing 30%+ year-over-year.

• Lead a finance team of approximately 20 people and oversee financial IT systems.

• Build credibility for the Finance group through timely and accurate closings, analysis, and reporting together with our audit partner KPMG.

• Partner with the CEO on financial strategy and investment opportunities.

• Manage compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across markets.

• Find ways to automate processes and increase efficiency.

• Help transform the organization from a start-up environment into a scalable, efficient operation.

  
  

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a senior finance role 

• Strong financial and accounting background, including understanding of profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow, and budgeting.

• 7+ years of accounting or finance experience.

• Familiarity with accounting standards and consolidation.

• Organizational and leadership skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and experience managing a team.

• Excellent knowledge of data analysis methods; strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office.

• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
