Operation Manager Deputy (w/m)

Join our Distribution Center team and look for new opportunities to optimise the work of our departments such as Inbound, Outbound and the Quality Improvement Team. This position does not require warehouse skills (in terms of having worked in a warehouse, etc.) The ideal candidate must be able to manage, organise and solve problems.

Location: Hamburg (Wietzendorf) - Germany

Your tasks:

• Seeking new opportunities to optimise the work of the Distribution Center (Inbound, Outbound and Quality Improvement Team) and implementing them.

• Supporting the Department Manager in daily work, coordination and administrative tasks.

• Analysing backlogs and taking measures to reduce them

• Implementing KPIs

• Improving cooperation with the purchasing and logistics departments.

• Working on warehouse projects, such as improving warehouse management Software and warehouse workflow and many more. 

Our requirements:

• You are interested in lean management and optimization topics

• You are not afraid of challenges

• You enjoy managing projects and solving problems

• You are independent and self-reliant

• You know English or German on at least B2 level

• Nice to have: experience in managing people

• Relocation possible, but not necessary, we provide weekly shuttles to Poland.
