We are now on the lookout for an SEO Specialist to help advance our ambitious growth at some of our most important websites in the iGaming sector. You’ll be a part of an SEO-focused team, who together with another in-house group in BC, was awarded “Best In-House Team” in the Nordics by Semrush Nordic Search Awards 2019, and was nominated for the same title in the European Search Awards 2019.
Important note: It is necessary to reside in the city of Krakow to qualify for this position since the work takes place in Krakow. No admissions for remote work will be considered.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for ensuring that a portfolio of Better Collective’s strongest sports betting sites will perform from an SEO point-of-view specifically for the Polish market with a strong focus on Google.
This includes maintaining an overview of rankings, continuously improving the organic visibility of our sites, suggesting and following up on improvements from a content, technical, link, and traffic perspective.
You’ll also conduct various types of competitor research to gather findings around the search landscape, backlinks, and content factors for different sites and keywords.
After implementation, you’ll be responsible for evaluating the impact on organic performance and communicating the findings to the content or site manager. Your research, implementation, and evaluation work will directly contribute to the overall team performance KPIs.
You will report to the Team Lead of Commercial Sites SEO in CPH, Kasper Møller, based in our headquarters in Copenhagen.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies, based on performance analysis (i.e. website structure, internal linking, semantic research, etc.)
- Implement and audit our netlinking strategy
- Analyze the digital health of our websites (i.e. pagespeed, link flow, sitemaps, redirects)
- Perform site audits and comparative analysis of high competitive SERP landscapes
- Monitor and analyze various KPIs i.e. rankings, ROI, etc.
- Research, challenge and contribute to our current SEO best practices
- Stay on top of Googles algorithm updates and perform correlation analysis across our portfolio of sites

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
As our SEO Specialist in the Commercial Sites team, your key objective will be to develop and execute successful SEO strategies. You will become part of an international, highly skilled, and dedicated team working on several language markets trying to cater to various user groups in the broad field of sports betting and iGaming.
Preferred qualifications:
- Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of how Google works
- Fluent or a good understanding of Polish
- Is proficient in English
- In-depth knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or organic search optimization projects
- Good experience with website analytics tools (Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog...)
- Has a technical background
- Passion for SEO and affiliate marketing
- Experience with WordPress and other CMS systems
- Enjoys working in a deadline-driven atmosphere
Familiar with the following SEO & Marketing Tools:

- A crawling tool, preferably Screaming Frog
- A ranking tool, preferably GetSTAT or Moz
- Ahrefs or Majestic
