About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help us expand Billennium’s presence in the Dutch market, with a future focus on the Nordic region.
This role is strongly focused on new business development (hunting) – identifying opportunities, building trust from scratch, and developing long-term partnerships with clients in the IT services space.
You will act as a trusted advisor and ambassador of Billennium, combining business understanding with technology-driven solutions.
What You Will Do:
Actively identify, approach, and acquire new clients in the Dutch market
Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
Develop and execute new business strategies to grow Billennium’s footprint
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Delivery, Recruitment, Competence Centers) to shape tailored solutions
Lead commercial discussions, proposals, and contract negotiations
Continuously explore cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
Contribute to expanding activities toward the Nordic market in the future
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development / Sales within IT services
Proven track record in hunting and acquiring new clients
Strong experience working with the Dutch market (must-have)
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
Strong business mindset with the ability to translate client needs into solutions
Fluent English (C1/C2) – both spoken and written
High level of autonomy, ownership, and proactive mindset
Nice to Have Qualifications:
Experience or exposure to Nordic markets (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland)
Understanding of nearshoring/offshoring IT delivery models
Experience working in an international environment
Willingness to travel across the Netherlands (and Nordics in future)
