About the Client:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with strong expertise in Kong Konnect to join our client's Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on enabling self-service API management, governance, and observability across hybrid cloud environments.

What you will do:

• Design and operate API management solutions using Kong Konnect in production environments

• Collaborate with platform engineering and infrastructure teams to scale API platforms across AWS and/or Azure

• Manage services and ingress in Kubernetes using Kong Gateway

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Helm, and GitOps practices

• Ensure secure API access using protocols like OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT

• Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Bash or Python

• Support governance and observability across the organization

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Kong Gateway, including at least 1 year with Kong Konnect in production

• Strong background in platform engineering or infrastructure

• Solid understanding of API management, REST, and microservices architecture

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm)

• Knowledge of identity and security protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT)

• Strong scripting/automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
