IT Business Analyst in Fund Accounting

Securities Services IT is servicing Securities Services business lines segmented into 4 Clients lines (Financial Intermediaries and Corporates, Asset Owners and Asset Managers, Alternatives, Market and Financing Services) and transversal functions in 35 markets.

Powered by more than 3000 people in 12 locations and 4 main IOCs, fueled by a 500M€ budget yearly, our goal is to build a resilient, scalable and agile IT platform to support our business, relying on modern strategies (platforms, digital, data…), methodologies (Agile, DevOps…) or infrastructures (Cloud, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Analyze with a critical and constructive point of view the requirements formulated by the Business line
• Translate the business requirements into functional specifications (elements of system design)
• Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts
• Act as the functional expert for problem solving or new requirements (products, regulatory, reporting…) in a multi-geographical environment
• Act as the solution expert for existing solutions improvements or new solutions design within a context of a unique platform and multi-jurisdictions usage, from the initiation phase to the rollout in production
• Apply the project life cycle group standards and communicate effective and informative progress statements in terms of outstanding milestones, current status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies
• Share knowledge about his/her area of expertise within the team
• Properly document at each step of the Business Analysis and ensure relevant documentation is available for the end user and IT Support function

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of the Fund Administration or Position Keeping activities (Operations in areas like Transactions, OTC, Corporate Actions, Accounting, Reporting…)
• First experience (1-2 years) as a BA would be consider as an advantage
• Basic knowledge of process analysis and design
• Customer centric mind-set
• English is mandatory , French is nice to have
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Project management basics
• Knowledge of Multifond (MFGA) platform will be considered as a strong asset
• Technical: SQL will be considered as a strong asset
