Our expectations:
University degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance;
Professional experience as a Chief Accountant (minimum 3 years);
Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements;
Practical knowledge of the integrated financial and accounting system Symfonia;
Experience in preparing tax declarations in the field of VAT and JPK, preferably also CIT, as well as GUS and NBP reports;
Knowledge of current legal regulations in the field of accounting and taxation (Accounting Act, CIT/VAT Act);
Timeliness, independence, and accuracy;
Proactive attitude and stress resilience;
Teamwork skills and ease in building relationships;
English language proficiency (minimum B2 level).

Key tasks:
Coordination and supervision of the Accountancy Department
Managing, supervising, and controlling all matters related to the proper handling of accounting and tax affairs of the Group’s service companies in Poland;
Preparing financial statements in accordance with applicable standards (Polish Accounting Act and IFRS);
Responsibility for developing the chart of accounts in line with reporting standards, controlling requirements, and tax law;
Managing balance confirmations with contractors, inventory settlement of company assets, and maintaining all accounting records;
Preparing reports and statements for the management board, banks, and external institutions;
Supervising the proper circulation of accounting documents;
Communicating and cooperating with external institutions (Tax Office, Social Insurance Institution, GUS, NBP);
Overseeing the correctness of tax settlements;
Substantive and organizational supervision of the accounting department;
Ensuring compliance with transfer pricing documentation requirements;
Handling grant settlements;
Representing the company before regulatory bodies and cooperating with auditors.
Coordinating operational activities
Submitting and granting access rights to new employees in the Accountancy Department.
Team management
Onboarding new team members;
Organizing, providing substantive support, and verifying the correctness of tasks performed by the team;
Enhancing employees’ competencies, conducting feedback, development, and motivational discussions.
