We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analytics Lead Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing data analytics and data modelling team. In this role, you will leverage your experience in data exploration, governance and visualization to drive a robust data model and data sourcing strategy to drive business insights and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define solutions with technology to collect and analyse large datasets from an identified data source to host and deliver data to business teams.
- Design and implement dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define metrics and monitor performance.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and document data models to support reporting needs.
- Communicate data findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business analysts, technology engineering and product teams to support data-driven initiatives.
- Identify data-quality issues and contribute to data governance and standardization efforts.
- Resolves occasionally complex and highly variable issues.
- Build content related to the data projects he/she is working on and work with the SharePoint administrator to deliver the content on the SharePoint.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a data sourcing, reporting and / or governance role.
- Solid experience in the banking sector and understanding of Citi’s businesses is a must.
- Good command of SQL and Python and data models is a must.
- Experience in Tableau would be an advantage.
- Good command of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to present technical data and concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to communicate with colleagues in other areas.
