Job Overview

Banking Operations Specialist is a junior level role supporting execution of complex transactions and participating in complex processes. The overall objective is to support all regular Deposit and Fiduciary products, Money Market transactions, and related settlement activities.

Responsibilities:

• Process all Deposit and Fiduciary products, including the execution and settlement of money market instruments and related payment activities

• Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), and recommend process improvements

• Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, experience on the job and procedural knowledge

• Oversee pending cases and ensure that all unresolved cases are brought to completion.

• Perform daily reconciliation and matching of Nostro items, following up on outstanding items

• Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients/vendors

• Contribute to and collaborate with Fiduciary and Money Market Operations projects as needed.

• Develop an understanding of how the Fiduciary and Money Market Operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives.                                                                                                    

Qualifications:

• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in finance / banking sector, such as:

  • Payment execution

  • Funds settlements

  • Investment operations

• Basic knowledge of financial industry products;

• SWIFT knowledge would be a plus

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to multitask and manage large volumes of data

• Advanced level of English (both verbal and written)

• Bachelor’s/University degree
