Databricks Data Engineer

• Budget: 125 - 135 PLN net/ h - b2b

• Project length: till the end of 2026, possible to extend it 

• Only candidates with citizenship in the European Union and residence in Poland

• Start date: ASAP 

Project scope:

• Designing and implementing data processing solutions using Databricks for large-scale and diverse datasets

• Creating, developing, and optimizing data pipelines using Python and cloud-based tools

• Collaborating with Solution Architects to define and apply best practices in data engineering

• Ensuring data consistency, security, and scalability within cloud environments

• Participating in the maintenance and further development of existing data solutions

• Ensure software engineering quality, reusability, and long-term maintainability

• Apply software engineering best practices (clean code, OOP, modularization, refactoring)

• Actively participate in code reviews 

Competence demands:

• 5-6 YoE in Data Engineering with Databricks

• Very strong Python and PySpark skills; proven experience with Databricks 

• Experience working in large, shared codebases 

• SQL skills, especially reading and understanding complex logic

• Object-oriented programming experience, clean code principles

• Strong data modelling background (transactional and analytical)

• Experience redesigning models during platform migrations

• Very good English skills
