Project information:

• Industry: IT
• Type of project: Tax/Accountancy
• Location: Kraków; remote working model (1 visit in the office per month)
• Working hours: Mon-Fr, 8 hours per day (very flexible)
• Languages: Polish & English
• Level: Mid
• Salary range: 16000 - 18000 PLN gross

Responsibilities:

• Verifying and ensuring the correctness of VAT calculations and transactions
• Approving VAT returns
• Reconciling of VAT accounts
• Collaborating with external providers
• Preparing tax reports
• Cooperating with tax and accounting teams
• Supporting tax audits and participating in VAT control processes
• Assisting in other indirect tax related activities
• Proposing process improvements initiatives
• Monitoring changes in legislations and tax laws

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in taxes (with the focus on VAT specialization)
• Familiarity with tax processes in global organization/international markets
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and procedures
• Great interpersonal skills
• Attention to details & problem-solving attitude
• Fluency in English
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP programs (nice to have)
