DataFeedWatch provides feed management and optimization solutions to eCommerce brands, retailers, and digital marketing agencies. We provide an easy-to-use tool for everyday PPC marketers, who want to improve their data quality and grow advertising campaign performance without relying on IT teams or clients.


Since our inception in 2013, we’ve become the go-to feed solution in the Nordics, and top 2 in the US & Europe. We’re known in the market for being an exceptionally intuitive tool, as well as our top-notch Customer Support (best-rated among feed providers).


Here are some interesting challenges we’re looking to tackle:

  • Over the years, we relied on content marketing to drive awareness and customer acquisition, which proved to be a successful strategy in the SMB market. We now need to build an equally successful community/PR machine that positions us as the number one choice for our target market. We’re talking double-digit  % YoY growth.
  • Creating a scalable solution to drive acquisition via word-of-mouth, community engagement, and referral marketing.
  • Positioning our brand as a thought leader in the feed management and PPC space


Fundamentally, we need to increase brand engagement and brand awareness to bring more qualified mid-market prospects to the front of the funnel. We need to be smart and out-of-the-box creative to get ahead of the competition, who outnumbers us in team size.

About the role


We're seeking a highly motivated marketer with expertise in digital PR, building thought-leadership and community-building for a B2B/SaaS product. This is a hands-on role that involves driving strategy and execution to elevate our brand, stimulate community growth, and boost customer advocacy.


Both the Marketing Team and the Customer Success Team will support you, but we expect you to be very hands-on yourself. You bring senior-level skills to strategize & direct, and have great organizational skills to execute & coordinate.


Your KPIs will include:

  • Building brand awareness among the primary target group
  • Identifying power users/potential brand ambassadors and building relationships with them
  • Increasing the number of community members advocating for the brand
  • Organizing community events and securing speaking engagements at industry events
  • Growing referral/word-of-mouth acquisition
  • Establishing thought-leadership by securing earned publications with top PPC/eCommerce websites in our space, as well as speaking engagements on industry events
  • Developing social media as a selling/acquisition channel
  • Establishing relationships with influential players in the industry (publishers, influencers, channel partners etc) for co-marketing opportunities

Your responsibilities: 

  • First and foremost: do what it takes to move the needle and achieve the KPIs.
  • Identify and nurture relationships with power users and influencers within our customer base, helping them become brand advocates.
  • Drive community growth: ensure our customers are actively sharing content, posting about our brand, or engaging in discussions.
  • Events: plan and execute community events (webinars, live chats, in-person meetups) to strengthen relationships and reinforce brand loyalty.
  • Network & Social Selling: create opportunities for social selling by building a network of brand advocates and collaborating with them on social media, case studies, events, and speaking engagements.
  • Enablement: enable the customer-facing team to speak at industry events/podcasts/webinars by securing (organic) speaking engagements and crafting strong thought-leadership narratives.
  • Collaborate with content writers on the team to develop high-impact content that gains exposure, including thought leadership pieces, industry reports, social media posts, and case studies.
  • Lead initiatives to secure brand mentions and placements, craft pitches that stand out, and develop relationships with journalists and industry professionals.
  •  Research and monitor industry trends to identify relevant opportunities for collaboration and exposure.
  • Develop analytics to clearly connect PR and community initiatives with business growth, and adjust course as needed to amplify the impact.


About you:

  • You have 5+ years in marketing with at least 3 years specializing in digital PR, branding, or community management in a B2B/SaaS context
  • Real results - you have, in reality, contributed to business growth in the past through branding, PR, or community activation; you can demonstrate this clearly
  • Planning - you’re capable of creating and executing quarterly plans across multiple channels and teams, with an eye for prioritizing impactful initiatives
  • Creative & Analytical - you are able to connect the dots between market insights and our business objectives
  • You have a knack for crafting compelling narratives to engage the community and wider industry audience
  • You possess full professional proficiency in English and flawless written skills
  • You are results-driven, able to work well with loose frameworks (and to develop new frameworks)
  • You display ownership of your area, and you’re able to work effectively as a part of a team and as an individual
  • You display perseverance when faced with challenges, and you don’t settle for mediocre results


Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge & experience in PPC and/or eCommerce 
  • Connections in the PPC industry (to PPC professionals, influencers, editors/journalists of PPC-centric news portals like SearchEngineLand etc.
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools: Buzzsumo, Ahrefs, Prowly, MuckRack;
