As a Senior Controller in Investment Banking, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial records. You will focus on managing daily profit and loss reporting, balance sheet analysis, and expense management for Investment Banking products such as Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Corporate Lending.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end processes for Banking Controller functions, including preparing daily P&L and Balance Sheets for Investment Banking products, with a focus on detailed financial analysis
• Drive strategic system implementation projects, enhancing the Banking Control infrastructure
• Identify and implement standardization, process improvement, and automation opportunities
• Perform complex financial analyses using advanced data analysis tools and methodologies
• Resolve issues independently, including complex challenges, and proactively enhance processes to prevent recurring problems
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and ethical standards, with a commitment to safeguarding bank's reputation, clients, and assets

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years’ experience in finance, accounting, audit, controlling, or a similar field
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Quantitative Methods, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines. A Master’s degree is a strong advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with KNIME, Tableau, or VBA is highly desirable (training provided for in-house systems)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present financial data to senior management effectively
• Solid understanding of investment banking products, markets, and economic factors influencing the industry
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CIMA are highly regarded
