Requirements
University degree (Master’s degree preferred; scientific, medical, or commercial background is an advantage).
Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital sales within pharmaceutical, medical devices, or healthcare-related companies.
Proven experience in hospital tenders and bidding procedures is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of the hospital environment and decision-making processes.
Demonstrated hunter mindset – proactive, results-driven, and highly independent.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and regional teams.
Native-level proficiency in the local language and working proficiency in English.
Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
Preferred place of residence: Ljubljana.
Responsibilities
Full responsibility for business results within the assigned accounts and sales territory (hospital segment).
Building, developing, and maintaining long-term relationships with key hospital stakeholders, including decision-makers, committees, and administrative bodies.
Developing and executing sales and account plans to maximize business potential across the assigned territory.
Actively managing hospital tenders, including close cooperation with internal stakeholders during proposal preparation.
Conducting regular field visits, product presentations, trainings, seminars, and professional meetings with healthcare professionals.
Identifying and leveraging market opportunities through strong market intelligence and customer insights.
Monitoring regional and local healthcare policies that may impact hospital business.
Analyzing account attractiveness, market share, and growth opportunities in cooperation with Marketing.
Closely monitoring and reporting competitive activities in the assigned sales area.
Managing CRM activities, including planning, reporting, and documentation of field work.
Preparing weekly and monthly reports related to sales performance and activity.
Managing assigned expense budget.
Cooperating cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, and regional teams to implement multi-source sales and marketing strategies.
Maintaining effective cooperation with wholesalers and distributor partners.
