Nordic Cash Flow Specialist (Swedish & English)

In this position, you’ll be a key player in maintaining financial accuracy across several European markets, ensuring that funds are correctly applied, cash is fully accounted for, and our business partners can rely on transparent financial data. Your ability to act quickly, analyse discrepancies, and communicate clearly will directly impact operational efficiency and client trust.

Requirements

• Fluency in Swedish (C1) – essential for daily coordination with Nordic stakeholders.

• Strong English (B2–C1) – required for cross-functional collaboration across European teams.

• 2–3 years of finance or accounting experience, ideally within an international or Shared Services environment.

• Proven exposure to cash allocation, banking processes or transactional finance, with experience in process transitions seen as a strong asset.

• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (ERP familiarity preferred).

• High attention to detail, accountability, and consistency in financial execution.

• Ability to stay organised, adapt to deadlines, and operate within a multicultural setting.

Responsibilities

• Own the allocation of incoming payments, ensuring they are matched to the correct customer accounts and invoices with full accuracy.

• Resolve unassigned or disputed cash, working closely with Swedish-speaking clients and European partners to secure financial clarity.

• Coordinate and execute international and domestic bank transfers, monitoring timing and compliance in multiple currencies.

• Prepare and validate payment batches and top-ups, submitting them for approval through banking platforms.

• Reconcile accounts and verify recorded transactions, safeguarding data integrity and addressing discrepancies.

• Process customer refunds, following internal policy and regional regulations.

• Support payment issue resolution, including rejected transfers and status tracking.

• Maintain proactive communication with internal finance teams, external partners, and banking institutions.
