We are looking for a Mid-Senior Accountant to take ownership of core accounting, payroll, and financial operations for a growing technology company operating in Poland. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth execution of day-to-day financial operations while supporting the company’s ongoing growth.

The position is well-suited for someone who is comfortable working across multiple financial and administrative areas and who can take responsibility for maintaining well-structured, reliable financial processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role

• Strong understanding of accounting, payroll, and tax regulations in Poland

• Experience managing accounts receivable and payable

• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned areas

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Good communication skills and working knowledge of English

Nice to have

• Experience working with technology or R&D-driven companies

• Exposure to tax incentive programs or optimization initiatives

• Experience working in fast-growing organizations

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records

• Handle payroll processing and employee-related financial documentation

• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, including categorization and timely processing

• Prepare and maintain financial and administrative documentation required for business operations

• Support international business travel by preparing expense and delegation documentation

• Coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors when needed

• Provide input on tax efficiency, available incentives, and potential rebates relevant to the business

• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline financial and administrative processes
