Merchant Success & Event Manager

Format: Remote work possible

About the Project:

E-Commerce Connect is the leading event that brings together key players and solutions in the retail and digital commerce sectors in Portugal and Poland. We’re growing and looking for someone energetic, curious, and results-oriented to join our team. The event has had eight editions in Portugal since 2018 and two in Poland since 2024.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a junior profile – a final-year student or recent graduate – to join our team, particularly helping us to manage our Polish operation. The mission? Help us engage with polish e-commerce/digital and retail directors, helping to create a strong community of amazing brands to participate at E-Commerce Connect Polska.

Ideal Profile

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Marketing, Management, Communication, or similar fields

• Interest in public relations, business, marketing, e-commerce and retail, events, and commercial activities in general

• Enjoys talking to people and comfortable communicating by phone

• Professional writing skills and clear communication

• Fluent in written and spoken Polish and English (Portuguese would be appreciated, but not

  compulsory)

• Most importantly – honesty, strong proactiveness, a willingness to learn, and genuine

  curiosity

• Resilience and auto-motivation: persistence and ability to work well alone

• Optional but valued – previous experience in public relations activities

• Focus on the Polish market: including potential travel to Poland for meetings, events, and helping with organization of E-Commerce Connect Polska

  Main Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads (key decision-makers in top Polish retailers and ecommerce companies)

• Contact and manage the current participants portfolio as well as potential new participants via LinkedIn, email, phone, and other channels, insuring their participation at the event

• Schedule and participate in meetings, presenting the event, its structure, available packages, etc.

• Organize and manage event logistics operations, such as dealing with hotels, restaurants and venues, as well as managing various supplier services such as printing and other materials, transportation, etc.

• Participate in internal follow-up and alignment meetings What We Offer
