About Embargo
Embargo is a high-growth SaaS business reshaping how cafes, bakeries, and Quick Service Restaurants connect with their regular customers. We replace outdated paper loyalty cards and low quality tech solutions with a powerful digital loyalty, CRM and ordering ecosystem. Our platform empowers hospitality businesses to deeply understand customer behavior, deploy automated marketing tools, and systematically drive up return rates, spend, and overall revenue.
We are growing at a rapid pace and while our product is exceptionally strong, our marketing setup is currently foundational. We are looking for an ambitious, high-energy Marketing Manager to transform our marketing engine, elevate our visibility, and build a high-velocity lead-generation machine.
The Role
We are not looking for a corporate coordinator or an administrative manager. We need a Challenger and a Doer who can architect our marketing strategy and immediately execute it to drive tangible output.
As an individual contributor reporting directly to the COO, you will own our messaging, branding, cadence and inbound activity. You will be working within an existing team that includes a Paid Advertising Manager, a Designer and a Website Builder. The surrounding team already effectively produces sales collateral and support materials, but you will be encouraged to help enhance that output. You’ll be able to focus entirely on growth strategy, content velocity, and expansion across the UK, Poland and into Europe.
Location: It would be ideal if you could work from our offices in Poznań or Warsaw, but we will accept hybrid or remote working for exceptional candidates.

Language Requirements: Complete professional fluency in both English and Polish (written and spoken) as these are our two core regions currently.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Campaign Architecture
Optimise the overarching marketing strategy to drive high-intent leads into our sales pipeline (in parallel with our separate outbound sales efforts).
Map out and deploy a consistent, high-value marketing cadence across email, social, and web channels.
Identify opportunities and construct playbooks to launch and scale Embargo’s footprint across the UK, Poland and into new European countries.
Content Engine & Brand Visibility
Help direct our internal team and external agency partners, to maximise their output across content production, SEO strategy, and website development.
Draft, refine, and ship core copy and messaging that establishes Embargo as an industry authority for the hospitality sector.
Collaborate with our internal designers to maintain a flawless visual brand presence while focusing heavily on data-driven copy performance.
Product Growth & Sales Enablement
Champion Product-Led Growth (PLG) initiatives, finding clever loops inside the product ecosystem to convert existing users into organic brand advocates.
Establish clear metrics to trace how content, campaigns, and enablement materials directly translate into commercial pipeline growth.
We have a separate sales enablement process that Marketing adds to and helps to enhance through case studies, automated email flows, and landing pages to empower our sales team and collapse close times.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated marketing experience, specifically within fast-paced B2B SaaS or technology startups.
The Blueprint: A proven track record of acting as a standalone individual contributor who can build from zero, test rapidly, and prioritize output over perfect theory.
The Language Fit: Exceptional copywriting and communication skills in both English and Polish. You will be building campaigns that scale internationally and locally.
The Product Edge: Strong familiarity with or exposure to Product-Led Growth (PLG) dynamics, viral loops, or product-driven user acquisition.
Expansion Track Record: Previous experience working on international tech launches or running campaigns that cross borders throughout Europe is highly advantageous.
Management Competency: While this starts as a solo execution role, you possess the commercial maturity and communication skills required to work with and manage experienced team members or vendors cleanly.
