Your Role
As an Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll own the marketing and publishing process for our portfolio of newsletters. You’ll begin by managing several newsletters hands-on, planning, formatting, and optimizing each send for engagement and performance.
Over time, as the number of newsletters grows, you’ll transition into a leadership role, working with publishing assistants to scale operations while maintaining quality, consistency, and marketing impact.
You’ll collaborate directly with authors, AI writers, designers, and other team members to ensure every newsletter delivers exciting, high-quality content that keeps readers engaged.
What You’ll Do
Plan and manage the end-to-end publishing process for multiple newsletters.
Upload, format, and review articles or posts in newsletter platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Optimize subject lines, layouts, content flow, and ad placements to maximize engagement and performance.
Curate, generate (using AI), and adapt advertising content that fits audience interests.
Maintain consistent publishing schedules across all newsletters.
Monitor performance metrics such as CTR, open rates, and engagement, and provide improvement insights.
Identify underperforming content and campaigns and recommend data-driven improvements.
Collaborate with authors, AI writers, designers, and other team members to align on content and marketing priorities.
Train, oversee, and coordinate publishing assistants as operations scale.
Document and improve publishing workflows to increase efficiency and consistency.
Provide weekly performance reports to stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in email marketing, newsletter management, or digital publishing.
Strong understanding of marketing metrics (CTR, open rate, conversions).
AI literacy, able to use tools to generate, adapt, or QA advertising content.
Basic design or layout taste or familiarity with simple design tools (for example, Canva or Figma).
Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing 15–20+ newsletters.
QA mindset, catches typos, formatting errors, and broken links.
High level of English (B2–C2).
Nice to Have
Proficiency with newsletter or email platforms such as Mailchimp, ConvertKit, SendGrid, Beehiiv, ActiveCampaign, etc.
Experience working with designers, writers, or content teams.
Familiarity with paid media or audience monetization.
Experience creating or managing multiple content brands.
