About the role

We are looking for Actuaries to join our team. In your role you will work closely with the Central Reserving Life and Health teams of ERGO Group, contributing to the development and execution of our quarterly closing processes.

How you will get the job done

• communicating of relevant information to ERGO’s national and international Life and Health entities via e-mails, calls and on-site workshops
• rolling out of manuals, processes, methods and changes in these to ERGO’s Life and Health entities
• preparing and conducting of training sessions for Life and Health entities
• communicating of changes in actuarial systems and alignment of requirements and changes with Life and Health entities
• organizing and managing of the actuarial ERGO Group central key contacts for the Life and Health entities
• collecting, structuring, analyzing, reviewing and quality assuring of IFRS17 closing figures, as well as presentation to stakeholders within ERGO Group
• planning and conducting reserve reviews of Life and Health entities

Skills and experience you will need

• fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• graduate degree in mathematics, economics or a comparable quantitative field
• excellent technical and analytical skills, structured way of thinking, logical and concise approach and high attention to detail
• advanced knowledge of the MS Office package
• proactivity, great organization and communication skills
• high intercultural competency and willingness to travel internationally
• ability to work in a team in an international environment
• willingness to think and act independently, autonomously and entrepreneurially
• resilience and openness to change and innovative working methods
• ability to effectively perform tasks with support from the team
