About the role

We are looking for Actuaries to join our team. In your role you will work closely with the Central Reserving Life and Health teams of ERGO Group, contributing to the development and execution of our quarterly closing processes.

How you will get the job done

• preparing actuarial models
• conducting of stochastic and deterministic actuarial projections for the annual and quarterly financial statements as well as for forecast, planning and sensitivity calculations using Prophet
• conducting calculations for Solvency II as an input for the risk models
• quality assuring, result analyzing and its interpretating
• preparing the results for further processing (handover-documents) and documentation for audit purposes as well as alignment with the auditor
• implementing and testing of actuarial models and model changes/ enhancements for Life and Health insurance
• shaping the future of actuarial models for ERGO’s Life and Health entities
• analysis, consolidation and quantification of model changes in actuarial models

Skills and experience you will need

• fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• graduate degree in mathematics, economics or a comparable quantitative field
• technical and analytical skills, structured way of thinking, logical and concise approach and high attention to detail
• advanced knowledge of the MS Office package
• technical skills in Excel, VBA, Prophet etc.
• proactivity, great organization and communication skills
• high intercultural competency and willingness to travel internationally
• ability to work in a team in an international environment
• willingness to think and act independently, autonomously and entrepreneurially
• ability to effectively perform tasks with support from the team
• willingness to develop and bring in own ideas
