ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S S.A.) was established in January 2021 following the integration of ERGO Digital IT and Atena into one entity, leveraging both companies’ strengths and best practices. As a part of ERGO Technology & Services Management AG, the technology holding of ERGO Group AG, we support millions of internal and external customers with state-of-the-art IT solutions to everyday problems.

In October 2022, ET&S S.A. expanded its scope of operations by creating a Business Services unit to contribute in a new way to the growth of ERGO’s business. Acting as a co-partner and internal consultant, it adds non-IT value and supports the development of the entire ERGO Group, currently offering skills in reporting, analysis, actuarial, and input management. How you will get the job done

• analysing IFRS17 data quality of posting input to SAP Global Template as global general ledger system from the central IFRS17 calculation system SAP FPSL
• creating general ledger correction documents based on the QA results
• supporting testing activities in connection with SAP FPSL data corrections to avoid SAP GT posting corrections
• supporting the maintenance and administration of the Chart of Accounts in the general ledger system SAP Global Template
• supporting the SAP OneGT project for the introduction of a new global general ledger system towards the development of a new chart of accounts
• supporting in the process analysis and process reorganization of booking processes resulting based on new chart of accounts definition

Skills and experience you will need

• fluent English (C1)
• university degree (preferably in business administration/ economics/ finance/ controlling/accounting/mathematics)
• experience in data analytics and/or Business Intelligence
• confident handling of data quality assurance measures and good understanding of typical tasks of a data steward (data reporting and expert data analysis)
• very good knowledge of standard Office software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience in the use of databases (SAP BW, Power BI, TM1/Cognos, SQL, Access)
• strong analytical thinking skills as well as a high degree of independence, commitment, initiative, ability to cooperate, sense of responsibility, communication and social skills, confident demeanour and time flexibility
• project management knowledge and experience acquired in practice

Nice to have

• good level of German (B1)
• knowledge of accounting regulations for insurance companies in accordance to current international standards (IFRS17, Solvency II)
• confident mastery of SAP modules FI/CO, at best customizing and master data management and application of posting processes and closing run activities
