Project Manager in Renewable Energy

About Us

Ergy is a rapidly growing Asset Management company focused on Renewable Energy Sources ("RES") in Poland. On top of the day-to-day management of RES assets during the construction and operations phase, an important part of our business involves identifying investment targets, providing strategic advice, conducting M&A transactions, raising debt financing and selling RES energy through PPAs. Our clients include investment funds, corporates (investing in RES for their own energy needs), as well as industry investors. Our team consists of RES experts with many years of experience in investments, financing and M&A transactions.

Your responsibilities

• Project management of selected solar and wind farms during the construction and/or operation period

• Direct cooperation with Ergy management on value creation initiatives relating to solar and wind farms performance

• Direct cooperation with investors and Ergy financial, legal, commercial and business development teams

• Team management that includes task delegation and verification of the project team's work results

• Construction process management

• Running tenders for components and services

• Preparation of budgets and construction schedules, as well as monitoring the project progress

• Liaising with vendors (e.g. EPC, owner’s engineer, components providers and advisors)

• Responsible for monitoring the application and progress of connections with DSO.

• Review vendors contracts and invoices issued by suppliers

• Managing suppliers’ obligations and their compliance with contracts requirements

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

• Responsible for handover protocol and handover the project to Operation & Maintenance Team

• You will be a member of our construction team with main responsibilities around protecting and creating value for the solar & wind farms we manage for our clients at the construction preparation and construction execution phase. You will also cooperate with Ergy’s financial and commercial teams, which will give you a boarded insight into management of renewable energy sources. You will have a real impact on construction of renewable energy sources in Poland

Our requirements

• Higher education, Engineering

• 2+ years of experience in renewable energy assets construction or performance analysis (alternatively, experience in project management of real estate construction)

• Knowledge of the solar, wind and BESS power industry, including regulatory frameworks

• Practical knowledge of the investment project lifecycle

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively with utilities, local commune, diverse stakeholders and manage multiple priorities

• Languages: Polish and English (minimum B2/C1)
