Lead Struc­tural Engineer- Oil & Gas Sector

Ferchau Poland is rapidly growing and expanding its footprint in the energy sector. We are currently seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to join our team and contribute to exciting projects within the oil and gas industry!

Your area of responsibility

• Leading technical teams and overseeing project support personnel to ensure successful delivery
• Taking technical ownership of structural engineering aspects within subsea manifold projects
• Providing technical analysis and support to mechanical teams in the development of innovative design solutions
• Executing structural design and analysis aligned with engineering principles, product specifications, and company standards
• Utilizing geometric modeling and commercial engineering software to perform comprehensive structural analyses
• Driving project optimization efforts and actively contributing to the development of new products
• Collaborating cross-functionally to define, implement, and validate technical solutions
• Serving as the primary technical liaison with suppliers and representing the engineering team in client engagements

The right qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field
• 2+ years of experience in the design and structural analysis of components operating under demanding service conditions
• Thorough familiarity with engineering standards and codes used in the oil and gas industry, such as ISO, Eurocode 3, and DNV
• Ability to utilize structural analysis software including ANSYS, Sesam GeniE, or equivalent tools
• Experience in managing and leading technical activities while collaborating effectively within cross-functional engineering teams throughout all project phases
