We are a part of FERCHAU Group, established in 1966 in Germany with more that 130 branches and over 9,000 employees. In Poland we are based in Warsaw, Wrocław and Gdańsk. Gdańsk is also the location of FERCHAU Technical Office which has been successfully operating in Poland since 2013. We specialize in IT and engineering services.
You will play a key role in a global project team, overseeing the installation planning for the entire compressor train, including the drive, compressor, and auxiliary systems. Your responsibilities will also encompass managing specific components and systems within the compressor train, such as steel structures and piping.
Exciting work:
Technical contact for project management and customers regarding package and installation design for turbo-compressor systems
Development of the basic mechanical design and installation layout concept
Review and evaluation of technical contract specifications
Preparation of technical documentation in line with customer contracts and project requirements
Definition of specifications for purchased components and collaboration with the procurement team
Coordination and resolution of technical issues with internal and external stakeholders

Impress us with your qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 3 year of experience in plant engineering, piping design, equipment design/engineering, and customer project execution
Experience working with manufacturers/equipment suppliers in heavy industries (e.g., oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical, process, manufacturing/packaging equipment)
Knowledge of international standards and codes (API, EX-protection, DIN/EN, ISO)
Coordination of business interactions with both internal teams and external partners
Fluent English for effective communication in a global work environment
Willingness to work from the Łódź office at least 3 days per week
Preferred:
Knowledge of industrial rotating equipment (compressors, turbines, motors, generators, pumps, gears)
Experience in supplier sales, commercial processes, and contract execution
Experience in offshore/onshore installation and commissioning
Knowledge and understanding of engineering tools (Teamcenter, NX CAD, SAP, etc.)
International business experience and a team-oriented mindset with networking and collaboration skills
