Ferchau Poland is looking for a Mechanical Simulation Engineer to join our team, which will be involved in new projects focused on structural FEA analysis, particularly in the development of engines and power generation units.
This will be your future job
- Develop and apply FEA techniques for primary engine components
- Conduct Heat and Stress Modeling, along with Structural Dynamic Analysis
- Design and implement pre- and post-processing workflows using Python
- Streamline and optimize simulation setup and evaluation processes
- Provide analysis-driven insights to support product development
- Collaborate with mechanical development team
- Work with diverse engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle
Your profile
- A master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Previous commercial experience with FEA/CAE simulations using ANSYS or Abaqus
- Python programming skills, especially for task automation
- Exposure to data visualization tools like Dash/Plotly
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English (minimum B2+/C1 level)
- A background or strong interest in generative design tools and techniques
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies is considered a plus
- Understanding of hydrogen technologies or applications is also considered a plus
